Allan is Head of Corporate Solutions at Climate Impact X (CIX), where he is responsible for developing and implementing the global commercial strategy for the company’s corporate solutions offering. In his role, he leads the corporate and supply engagement teams responsible for supporting business leaders to confidently take climate, nature and community enablement action using impact credits to realise their environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.
Allan is a commercial strategist who has delivered customer-centric business transformation within Fortune 500 companies on five continents. He brings over 20 years’ experience directing sales and marketing teams in the energy, transportation and voluntary carbon market sectors.
Allan joins CIX from Emergent where, as Chief Commercial Officer, he led multilateral recruitment of climate finance commitments, client servicing and growth, as well as value proposition development. This includes launching the LEAF Coalition that galvanised US$1 billion in private sector offtakes for jurisdictional REDD+ credits. Prior to this, he held various roles at Shell, which saw him work with Chief Sustainability Officers, non-governmental organisations and channel partners to create the world’s first sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) "inset" for use by corporations and airlines to reach their net-zero targets.
