Ellery is the Head of Exchange at Climate Impact X (CIX). He is responsible for building and implementing the global strategy for CIX’s exchange offering, as well as leading a cross-functional team to ensure the commercial and operational success of the platform and related services. Under Ellery’s leadership, CIX Exchange has established itself as a global leading exchange for carbon credits, with a novel ‘daily pricing window’ that fosters fair and transparent price discovery.
Prior to this, Ellery co-founded an AI-driven legal technology company headquartered in Singapore. He led the business to a successful series A capital raise and its subsequent expansion into the European market, where they served leading UK law firms (Magic Circle). In this role, his responsibilities included leading a team of engineers, data scientists, product managers, sales and marketing professionals to deliver the company’s vision. Ellery started his career specialising in multi-asset investment strategies across global public markets, including a five-year stint at JP Morgan.
