      Oi-Yee Choo Chief Executive Officer

      Oi-Yee is the Chief Executive Officer of Climate Impact X (CIX). She is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of CIX, as well as developing and executing the company’s vision and mission to accelerate environmental impact at scale through the carbon markets. 

      Oi-Yee is a seasoned, visionary leader with a background spanning 25 years in financial markets. She brings a wealth of experience in building and leading high-performing businesses across sectors, with a proven track record in fintech, innovation and capital markets. 

      Oi-Yee was most recently CEO of ADDX, a blockchain-based private capital markets exchange in Singapore licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Under her leadership since 2020, ADDX strengthened its partnerships with global blue-chip companies and grew its platform to surpass US$1 billion in tokenised securities, one of the largest worldwide. Prior to ADDX, Oi-Yee spent over 20 years in investment banking, leading major capital markets transactions for clients across Asia, Europe and the US. She has held leadership roles at Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Nomura and UBS. 

      Oi-Yee is passionate about leveraging technological innovation to advance financial inclusion and create meaningful impact. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from Manchester Business School.

      Mark Glossoti Chief Operating Officer

      Mark serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at CIX. In his role as CEO, he is responsible for steering the strategic direction of the company, while also developing and executing its vision and mission to accelerate environmental impact through the carbon markets. As COO, he oversees the core support functions of risk, operations, finance, legal and compliance, and human resources.

      Before joining CIX, Mark was COO at TransAsia Private Capital. Over an extensive career, he has held leadership positions at Alphadyne Asset Management, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase.

      Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Witwatersrand. Outside of work, he is an avid cyclist and ironman racer. Being acutely aware of the impact of emissions on global temperatures, Mark looks to make small lifestyle changes to reduce his carbon footprint, fostering awareness and momentum for broader climate action.

      Ellery Sutanto Chief Commercial Officer

      Ellery is the Chief Commercial Officer at Climate Impact X (CIX). He is responsible for implementing the global strategy for CIX’s commercial offerings, as well as leading a cross-functional team to ensure the commercial and operational success of our environmental products and services. Under Ellery’s leadership, CIX Exchange has established itself as a global leading exchange for carbon credits, with a novel ‘daily pricing window’ that fosters fair and transparent price discovery.

      Prior to this, Ellery co-founded an AI-driven legal technology company headquartered in Singapore. He led the business to a successful series A capital raise and its subsequent expansion into the European market, where they served leading UK law firms (Magic Circle). In this role, his responsibilities included leading a team of engineers, data scientists, product managers, sales and marketing professionals to deliver the company’s vision. Ellery started his career specialising in multi-asset investment strategies across global public markets, including a five-year stint at JP Morgan.

      Julien Hall Head of Intelligence

      Julien is Head of Intelligence at Climate Impact X (CIX), where he spearheads the development and growth of the company’s market data and analytics service for the voluntary carbon market (VCM). In his role, he is also responsible for designing standard contracts and overseeing the creation of CIX’s growing suite of price benchmarks.

      He has spent 16 years observing, analysing and pricing commodity markets, including 14years at S&P Global Commodity Insights. During that time, he managed commodity benchmarks and teams of reporters and analysts, in markets including iron ore, steel, met coal, aluminium, copper, battery metals, biofuels, wheat and corn.

      Julien has played a key role in the launch and management of several global and regional commodity price benchmarks and has extensive experience in commodity pricing, risk management, business journalism, and strategy. Before working at S&P, he wrote a specialised newsletter focusing on French private equity, tracking details of buyout and VC transactions and industry trends.

      Benjamin Kwok Head of Legal

      Benjamin is Head of Legal at Climate Impact X (CIX), where he leads the company’s legal, regulatory, and governance strategy. Ben partners closely with the commercial, operations, risk, and technology teams to structure new market offerings, engage with regulators, and design durable legal frameworks that underpin CIX’s growth and credibility across jurisdictions.

      Prior to joining CIX, Ben was Vice President, Legal at ADDX, a MAS-regulated digital securities exchange, where he supported fundraising, M&A, and product structuring while ensuring alignment with the company’s financial services licences. He began his legal career in private practice at leading Singapore firm Allen & Gledhill LLP and later at Magic Circle firm Allen & Overy LLP, advising on complex cross-border capital markets and financing transactions for global financial institutions.

      Ben holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Second Class Upper from the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London and is admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

      Daphne Chuah Director of Global Communications & Marketing

      Daphne is the Director of Global Communications & Marketing at Climate Impact X (CIX), where she leads a team responsible for shaping the company’s brand, reputation and customer engagement strategies. She oversees the development and execution of integrated campaigns across earned, owned and paid media to drive brand visibility, build stakeholder trust and support commercial growth.  

      Since joining CIX in 2022, her remit has grown to cover the full spectrum of communications and marketing—from brand strategy, public relations and executive positioning; to digital marketing, content development events and performance-driven campaigns—designed to engage customers, elevate CIX’s thought leadership and accelerate demand across priority markets. She also works cross-functionally with sales, product, strategy, legal and operations teams to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with CIX’s business objectives.

      A strategic communications expert, Daphne brings over a decade of experience across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to CIX, she held senior roles at top communications agencies in Singapore, Sydney and London, advising global corporations in the technology, energy and financial sectors on reputation strategy, litigation communications, crisis response and media engagement.

      Daphne holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and media management from the National University of Singapore.

      John Versfeld Director of Operations, Risk and Client Support

      John serves as Director of Operations, Risk and Client Support, where he leads global operations across the platforms. He oversees client onboarding, trade lifecycle management, asset reconciliation and enterprise risk, building scalable, client-focused infrastructure to support the company’s growth.  

      With over 20 years of experience across Europe, Africa and Asia, John has held senior leadership roles in fund administration and fund management, private debt and environmental asset markets, including Head of Operations at TransAsia Private Capital and COO at Woodside Holdings.  

      John holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Natal and is a dedicated cyclist, having completed the Cape Epic twice.

      Saurabh Joshi Head of Origination & Strategic Partnerships

      Saurabh is Head of Origination & Strategic Partnerships at Climate Impact X (CIX). In his role, he leads efforts to source high-integrity carbon projects by collaborating closely with project developers, while also driving strategic partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders, including government bodies, development organisations, among other partners. 

      Prior to this role, Saurabh spent over eight years with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), holding various positions across the Environmental Sustainability, International Operations and Energy divisions. Saurabh started his career with environmental markets brokerage, Tradition Green, originating and transacting carbon credit projects under the Kyoto Protocol.  

      Saurabh holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.

      Tara Caemmerer Director of Strategy and Corporate Development

      Tara is Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at Climate Impact X (CIX), where she collaborates with senior leadership and the Board to drive strategic priorities, growth initiatives, and organisational execution. She also supports the company’s capital raising activities and engages closely with investors and strategic partners.

      Prior to joining CIX, Tara led Market Intelligence at Gold Standard, a leading global carbon markets standard based in Geneva, where she supported enterprise strategy across government and corporate climate solutions by institutionalising data-driven analysis and executive reporting across compliance and voluntary carbon markets.

      Earlier in her career, Tara worked across corporate advisory and investment spanning Asian and North American markets, with experience at Edelman, Mandiri Sekuritas, and Goldman Sachs. In parallel, she founded a leadership institute focused on community-driven development, earning the British Council’s Social Impact Award (2024).

      Tara holds a Master of Management Science as a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University, with further graduate study at Harvard and Columbia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Philosophy from Durham University (UK).

      Valerie Koh Director of Business Development and Management

      Valerie is the Director of Business Development and Management at CIX, where she drives commercial growth across the company’s strategic initiatives. She works closely with market participants to support new product launches and develop solutions that enhance market access across global environmental product markets. In her role, Valerie designs and executes go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with sales and marketing teams, building and strengthening the client funnel. In her business management capacity, she drives cross-functional execution of key commercial initiatives, aligns commercial strategy with operational delivery, and oversees revenue performance and client outcomes.

      Valerie began her career at PwC, providing audit and advisory services to clients in the asset and wealth management sector. She supported global investment managers on governance, fund structures, internal controls, and regulatory requirements—building a strong foundation in financial markets and complex stakeholder environments.

      Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
