Climate Impact X (CIX) is pleased to advise that a series of new features and enhancements have been introduced to the CIX Exchange platform, effective immediately. These updates are designed to improve transparency and workflow efficiency for market participants.
Summary of key enhancements:
- Integrated market intelligence access for Premium Subscribers
- Firm-wide negotiation capability
- Clear trade submission for unlisted instruments
- Integration of BeZero maps and Calyx ratings
- Operational workflow optimisation and enhanced CIX admin controls
1. Integrated market intelligence access for Premium Subscribers
Premium subscribers of CIX Intelligence can now access the CIX Trade Database directly within the CIX Exchange platform. This offers direct access to CIX and OTC historical pricing data associated with the relevant Registry and Project ID pair, inclusive of all vintages, helping inform on-screen trading decisions.
2. Firm-wide negotiation capability
Permitted users can now view and participate in all existing negotiations conducted by their organisations. All chat messages within negotiations are tagged with the originating user ID to ensure internal transparency and auditability.
3. Clear trade submission for unlisted instruments
Users may now submit Clear transactions for instruments not listed on the platform, as long as it meets the definition of a CIX Clear Permitted Product. Users may request the creation of new symbols directly on the platform. If and once approved by CIX, requests will progress through the standard CIX Clear settlement workflow.
4. Integration of BeZero maps and Calyx ratings
Where available, the platform will display project-level geospatial boundary maps from BeZero and/or carbon credit ratings from Calyx Global.
5. Operational workflow optimisation and enhanced admin controls
Member firms may elect to simplify maker–checker process flows to require only a single user approval. In addition, CIX Admin rights have been extended to allow the CIX Operations team to perform all key actions on behalf of clients, when requested.
Additional user interface enhancements
In addition, CIX has introduced a range of user interface (UI) improvements as part of this roll out. This includes allowing users to collapse the ‘Order Entry’ and ‘Order Management’ panels, as well as download and export holdings across all accounts into a single file, amongst others.
All new features and enhancements announced in this notice are live on the CIX Exchange platform.
